SPEND TIME IN CENTRAL AMERICA
AND EXPERIENCE FIRST HAND WHAT FULL TIME MISSIONs IS ALL ABOUT

As an OEM Intern you will…………

  • Lead Prayer Walks in areas prior to planned evangelism
  • Teach discipleship classes
  • Help host Action Teams (Mission Teams)
  • Engage in relationship evangelism
  • Facilitate Conferences and training events
  • Learn from full time Missionaries and Leaders from the USA, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador and other countries.
  • Work in Orphanages, Feeding Centers, Sporting Events, Kindergarten and Schools

All interns will be supervised by OEM missionaries and leaders.

We are so excited about your commitment to spend time with us and to serve God in Nicaragua. It is our prayer that God will use you in a mighty and supernatural way while you are serving Him in Central America.

Here are some of the opportunities and responsibilities you will have as an intern:

 1. Be a Godly representative of Jesus Christ, your church and the USA.
 2. Have a quiet time, devotional time and prayer time each day.
 3. Keep a Journal each and everyday.
 4. Join in a discussion of leadership each day constructed around the "21 Laws of Leadership"
 5. Be responsible and accountable for your assigned duties to help the mission teams (to be determined)
 6. Write a report at the end of your stay with a synopsis of how God has used you during these weeks.

Make sure you take each of the following steps to become a ministry intern with Open Eyes Ministries...

--Step 1--

You will need to email or mail us:

1) A letter of recommendation from your parents

2) A letter of recommendation from the pastor of your church.

--Step 2--

Fill out the online registration form and e-mail it to us as an attachment. On this form you will be asked for your contact information, as well as the following:
 1)Your goals of what you expect to achieve during your internship
 2)Written salvation experience and testimony
 3)Why you want to come to Central America for an internship

You must bring the following with you when you come to Central America:

1) A copy of the book, "21 Laws of Leadership" by John Maxwell
2) $150/ week for housing, food etc.
3) Any spending money you may need
4) $33 fee to exit the country
